Not in my right mind.

And probably not in my left, either.

I'm a wreck. I can't plan my schedule at all. Lent this year has been like carrying sixty pounds of rocks on my back, and I have a hard time motivating myself without it soon bursting like a bubble on the water's surface. bloop.

My neck hurts on my right side. It's like a stabbing pain, really.

I added the orthodontist to people I owe money. My retainer is broken, so we're trying to get my teeth back to normal now while they've not moved very far so I can just get a newer version of my old retainer.

For 5 weeks I'm going to sound like an obese chess club member.

All I know is, rain or shine, heaven or hell, sinful or holy, all my crap will hit the fan after Easter.

We will see what happens from there.

Imperfection

I looked at myself today in a mirror. I didn't like what I saw.

I'm going to be honest about it. I was sitting on the toilet, looking at myself in the mirror. I saw myself sitting there, my stomach in my lap, and I was disgusted.

I'm so soft. My body is doughy, my mind is flimsy, and my will is weak. I feel so pathetic.

Lent has been a near constant struggle to keep myself to what I said I would do. And i decided to do so little for Lent this year.

As for my challenges, they're going moderately well, I guess.

I don't know if I've listed out all my challenges so far, so I'll do that.

Compose a draught of my book by October 1.

Get myself back up to speed on Parkour.

Drink 14 cups of water a day.

Come to terms with my job.

Find a spiritual mentor 20 years older than me and meet with that person at least once a month.

Read the whole Bible by the End of the year and let the challenger know about that by phone.

I'll let you guys know how these are going later this week when I can see if I made some progress.
