Focusing the lens.

Yesterday I woke up an hour early and went to see one of my professors about a paper I was writing. While we were discussing my topic, I came to find out two things from him: a narrow focus on a particular topic is often more helpful than a broad focus and that if I'm looking for one thing that I don't have, I might as well start looking for it by investigating what I do have.

Funny how things that we've always been looking for are so near to us.
